My dad Sterling met Kevin almost 20 years ago, and created a platform to provide undiscovered artists the chance to play live with the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands.
Heading into the 19th Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, we’ve built a massive groundswell of loyal customers and fans through our activation, stages, and platform.

The partnership we’ve created with Rockstar Mayhem Festival has been invaluable. With an ever-growing captive audience each summer, we’ve been able to reach not only our core consumers but introduce innovation and new flavors to new consumers as well.
In 2008, in the festival’s year of inception, Rockstar Energy offered a portfolio of nine flavors. Today, Rockstar has grown to offer twenty-seven flavors.

Working with team KLG is like working with your own in-house agency. Fuse has been a media partner for ten years; we’ve collaborated on every imaginable execution from inflatable caricature waterslides, live streaming, and two seasons of a reality series starring the entire crew and hundreds of fans and bands.

KEVIN LYMAN | KLG CEO & FOUNDER
Kevin Lyman has shaped youth culture for over 35 years with his award winning expertise in the music and entertainment industry as well as business and philanthropic ventures. Lyman is best known as the creator of the most socially influential music tours in the United States including iconic Vans Warped Tour, giving him the name “festival mastermind.”
Lyman pioneered the successful integration of corporate sponsors with the extreme lifestyle, creating a blueprint for sponsorship integration widely duplicated in the marketplace today. 4Fini uses this blueprint to produce some of the most influential events in the world including branded festivals and custom events.
For his philanthropic efforts, Lyman was recognized as the Billboard Touring Awards Humanitarian of the Year (2009), an honoree at the Grammy/MusiCares MAP Fund gala (2011 and 2014), and was inducted into the Top Dog Touring Hall of Fame (2012). He serves on the board of directors for MusiCares, TJ Martel, Hands that Rock, Saint Archer Brewery, and is an advisor for the Los Angeles Fairplex.
KATE TRUSCOTT | GENERAL MANAGER
Kate Truscott is one half of the dynamic duo that makes up the KLG Nashville office where sponsorship strategy is handled from introduction through activation. Kate works with clients to create and execute key programs that allow them to access all that the KLG properties have to offer including social media and digital integration, artist relations, onsite marketing, and management of all staff each summer on the Vans Warped Tour.
Prior to coming to KLG in 2006, Kate held various management touring positions with music artists like Chevelle, My Chemical Romance, and Fort Minor. Kate grew up in New England and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After starting her career in Chicago, Kate moved to Nashville to launch the KLG office.
When she isn’t working, you can find her at early morning boot camp workouts with partner in crime Allison, hanging at home with her shar-pei Oscar, or baking gourmet treats for friends.
STEPH MIRSKY | MARKETING & CREATIVE MANAGER
As Marketing Manager Steph works to develop and execute all things marketing for both the Vans Warped Tour and all KLG clients. Steph works with clients to create and execute 360-degree marketing campaigns throughout the year. Having a hand in everything from brand development, to social media and digital strategy, to content production allows Steph to stay a step ahead and engage an innate entrepreneurial spirit.
A Philadelphia transplant and Boston University alumnus, Steph enjoys all things that bring creativity and technology together.
